JOB POSTING: Licensed Therapists – IHBT Program
CommQuest Services is currently looking for two Licensed Therapists for our Intensive Home Based Therapy (IHBT) program, on our MI/DD and MI/AoD teams. This position is community based and the therapist must possess excellent assessment and crisis intervention skills, as well as demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple systems in our community. Knowledge of the DSM V is critical, as well as the ability to complete a Comprehensive Assessment. These Therapists are an integral part of the IHBT program, with an emphasis on working as a team and providing quality care to individuals.
The MI/DD team renders services to individuals 11-24 years of age who are impacted by both a developmental disability and mental illness. The IHBT interventions will be primarily community based and will focus on recovery and resiliency principles. The Therapist will work with parents and other community partners, primarily the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities, to assist those referred to remain in their natural environment.
The MI/AoD team renders services to individuals 11-21 years of age who are impacted by both substance use disorders and mental illness. The IHBT interventions will be primarily community based and will focus on recovery and resiliency principles. The Therapist will work with parents and other community partners to ensure individuals remain in their homes and are able to obtain needed interventions to address their co-occurring disorders.
For both positions – a Master’s degree in either Counseling or Social Work is required, as well as licensure by the Ohio Board of Counselors, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists, at a minimum of an LPC or LSW. A valid Ohio Driver’s License is required.
