Total Distribution Inc. in Fremont, Ohio is a branch of Peoples Services, Inc. and is a growing network of 3PL companies that provide quality supply chain logistics and transportation services. Peoples Services operates over 7.5 million square feet of public and contract warehouse space in 42 facilities across seven states. Our warehouses specialize in food grade storage and handling, polymers, plastics, chemicals and customized packaging and fulfillment services. Warehouses are located in Michigan down to Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. Our warehouse locations, in-house transportation and brokerage services, company owned fleet of trucks and experienced supply chain team give us the leverage to provide efficient, reliable supply chain services.

We are looking for a manager to direct and manage warehouse professionals to achieve timely delivery and receipt of products and to motivate employees.

Job responsibilities include:

Safety: Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with local, state, and federal law.

Quality Assurance Programs: Solid knowledge of ISO, AIB, GFSI, SQF and 5S processes.

Leadership: Exceptional ability to foster the Operations Team and provide oversight and guidance regarding operations, scheduling and production planning.

Systems: WMS and SAP knowledge a must.

Customer Engagement: Lead customer focus meetings to review performance including: internal and external audit findings, invoicing and physical inventory results. Must possess the keen ability to rapidly discern customer issues and provide timely and effective corrective actions.

HR Requirements: Possess strong skill sets in the areas of interviewing, selection, employee orientation and training.

Financial Analysis Requirements: A diverse financial background with previous P&L accountability is required and must include: budget preparation, capital planning, project cost analysis with recommendations for continuous improvement.


- 5-10 years of progressive operational management experience in a high-volume/fast-paced 3PL or similar type of organization.

- College degree in a related field is strongly desired.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Office Suite.

- Ability to handle multiple assignments at once with a great level of detail and organization.
