Our Belden Village office is looking for a full time patient accounts representative. The primary duties include:
1 Prepare electronic and paper claims for submission
2 Process coverage denials for appeal
3 Follow-up on payments and establish payment plans
4 Assist with Medicare billing and collections
This candidate filling this position will also assist our accounting department with accounts receivable processing related to the health and wellness division. The duties that will be performed include the setting up of customer invoices and posting of payments.
This position requires a minimum of two years experience in a medical office with a thorough understanding of medical terminology. Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-office environment. A working knowledge of Excel would be a plus.
