Title: Manager, Demand Management (Contract Position is on Hold)
MUST HAVE PHARMACEUTICAL EXPERIENCE ... NO EXCEPTIONS
Manage the Demand Management activities required to support both the Multisource and Contract business. Insure compliance within this function of compliance to Global Supply Chain metrics. Monitor and insure both inventory and customer service levels. Additionally, this function will manage projects, which include system and business process projects in support of the materials function.
1. Manage communications utilizing the Sales and Operations Planning processes.
2. Manage all activities necessary to develop net requirements for 2 businesses that will drive targeted inventory turns and sustain required customer service levels specific to each business.
3. Manage the development of inventory dollar and turns targets (budget and ongoing) for each business by creating new ideas to improve the existing supply chain.
4. Manage the activities required to develop safety stocks levels that support the unique service level targets buy business and product, while optimizing the inventory investment and targeted inventory turns.
5. Manage the activities necessary for both the short and long term planning cycles and work with finance and the businesses to insure accuracy.
6. Identify and develop new ideas and lead projects that improve the overall supply chain processes and work to align those with the best practices in the industry.
7. Lead the activities necessary to insure systems are in place for managing the cycle times from incoming raw material processes to release of finished goods.
1. Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry or pharmacy discipline. Additional education or professional development in project management is recommended.
2. Minimum 7 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry ideally in the product development area with minimum of 2 years project supervision experience.
3. Working knowledge of ANDA, AADA and NDA filings with the FDA.
4. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products including project planning techniques and software.
