ComputersAgain Coordinator
This full-time position will assume primary responsibility for participants from intake through goal planning to discharge and follow-up in the Computers Again program. This position refurbishes computers and provides training to individuals. Responsibilities include working with participants and volunteers in evaluating, trouble shooting, configuring and maintaining a variety of computer equipment, teaching and assessing specific job skills, job safety and appropriate work behaviors to be successful in the world of work. Will solicit computer donations from area businesses.
This position requires: Knowledge of computer hardware, software, training skills, listening skills, customer service skills, flexibility, excellent organizational skills, frequent travel and teaching. A+ certification is preferred and a bachelor's degree in education, rehabilitation counseling, psychology, social work, Education or related area is required, or five years of closely related experience. Vocationally oriented experience is desirable. Experience in working with persons with disabilities is preferred. A valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required.
Working hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (hours may vary must be flexible.)
