Description
DUTIES (include but not limited to the following):
- Assist the Director of Early Intervention with developing, implementing and evaluating Early Intervention policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations
- Monitor productivity, supervise, and evaluate Service Coordinators and Developmental Specialists
- Participate as a team member in required meetings, planning and decision-making process while resolving moderately complex problems
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS (include but not limited to the following):
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience working with children birth-5 with developmental delays or disabilities and 2 years’ experience in supervision or management
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood, Social Sciences, Social Work, Nursing or related field
- Hold or be eligible for an Early Intervention Service Coordinator Supervisor Credential as required by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, as specified in the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) section 5123-10-04 (D) and hold or be eligible for a 5-Year Developmental Specialist certification as specified in OAC 5123-10-05 (C) (2)
- Ability to establish and maintain a comprehensive record-keeping system
- Ability to tactfully and effectively deal with public and staff in a personable and professional manner
- Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and abuser registry clearances
SALARY: $47,000 - $89,300 Excellent benefits package
This position involves working with children and/or adults who have developmental disabilities.
