Gastroenterology and Hepatology Specialists, Inc. (GHS) was established in 1998 by Dr. Nabil Fahmy upon completion of his three year Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship in Richmond, Virginia. Under Dr. Fahmy's leadership, the practice has grown into the success it is today. In 2004 the practice moved from Mercy Medical Center Professional Building to its new facility in the upper level of 4360 Fulton Dr., N.W., Suite B, in Canton (Jackson Township). Dr. Sameh Kamel joined the practice in 2008 following his GI fellowship in Long Island, New York and Dr. Xiao joined the practice in 2010 following his GI fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
