The M. Conley Company, a 109 year old distribution company located in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Sales Representative to promote 3M Industrial Products as our 3M Certified Specialist.

This individual will work with the existing sales force to promote the 3M Industrial line. 3M will provide the training for this role. This person should be self-motivated, aggressive and possess strong business development skills. Other qualifications for this position would include a Sales/Business Degree or at least 2 years in the sales industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Support coverage of assigned accounts and/or within an assigned geography.
• Assist Sales Management in reaching business plan goals.
• Understand and achieve sales targets and objectives.
• Demonstrates products and train customers on product applications.
• Sell 3M Industrial Products such as: Abrasive, Pressure Sensitive Tapes and Adhesives.
• Understand customer process and sell value versus price.
• Work with M. Conley Sales Representatives, customer specifications, and material approvals through conducting joint sales calls and providing product training.
• Drive forecast attainment for the zone.
• Understand distributor strategy.
• Develop strong relationships and influence distributor sales representatives, 3M Sales Representatives, customer accounts and prospects.
• Understand customer business priorities.
• Utilize solutions-based selling skills.
• Manage business planning and execution process.
• Track and measure results against business plan.
