Adjunct Instructor, Computer Science and Information Systems
Stark State College
Position Summary:
Instruction in traditional and non-traditional modalities; preparation of instructional materials; assessment of student performance, including electronic submission of Never Attends, Early Alerts, and final grades by the required date; ability to work with different learning styles; ability to work effectively with a diverse student population, specifically students 17-21 years old. Instruction will involve teaching at the juvenile detention centers (Ohio Department of Youth Services) onsite. Teaching will be in the juvenile detention centers at Massillon, Circleville or Highland Heights.
Full-Time / Part-Time: Part-Time

Education Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in Computers; or closely related field.
Experience/Qualifications Requirements:
Experience in K-12 or college level teaching. Proficiency with Network+, Security+, A+, CCNA or Linux+ preferred. Teaching will be in the juvenile detention centers at Massillon, Circleville or Highland Heights.
Licensure or Certification Requirements:
Computer-related certifications a plus.
