Description

The right candidate will have the ability to perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on Commercial Restaurant Equipment and provide a detailed accurate resolution in a timely manner. Maintains and orders critical repair parts and inventory. The right candidate will be comfortable with working with and repairing all types of restaurant equipment including: convection ovens, freezers, ranges, steam tables, warmers, steamers, ice machines, walk in and reach in coolers, fryers,pizza ovens and dishwashers.

Plumbing

  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance functions including installation and repairs.
  • The ability to work with all types of plumbing materials /systems such as stainless steel, black pipe, galvanized, copper, brass with the ability to braze and sweat copper tubing in compliance with applicable building codes.

Electrical

  • Read electrical schematics to perform regular maintenance,trouble shooting and repair of electrical equipment.
  • Master of basic electricity, understands Ohm’s Law.
  • Inspect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

Restaurant Equipment

  • Performs regular preventative maintenance on all restaurant equipment such as ovens, coolers, freezers, ice machines and deep fryers. Determining what kind of maintenance is needed.
  • Inspect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Understands and has the ability to service and repair natural gas appliances.
  • The ability to service and repair exhaust hoods and makeup air systems.
  • With the ability to install and repair refrigeration system components, i.e. compressors, evaporators, condensers and related motors

Salad Dressing Production Equipment

  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on salad dressing production equipment by performing mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, trouble shooting and repair of production equipment.
  • Inspect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production for salad dressing plant and performs regular maintenance repairs of production equipment.
  • Follows food safety protocol for all maintenance in food service areas and food production areas.
  • Comply with safety regulation and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers via phone or internet.
