AA Executive Catering, Canton’s Premier Executive Catering Company. Is accepting applications for a full-time Banquet Chef. This is a full time, hands-on position requiring experience in large scale, high-end food production for on- and off-site premise catering functions. Preference given to culinary school graduates, and applicants that possess SERVE SAFE certification. Must Have 2 -3 years of related experience in F &B; Ability to manage staff (supervisory experience), Must be highly organized, efficient and detailed-oriented; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A successful banquet chef effectively directs and manages a team of cooks under his command. Although the number of employees in a banquet kitchen will vary depending on the size of the operation, the chef must identify the best attributes and idiosyncrasies of each cook and determine who fits best into specific roles. He considers variables with each event, such as type of cuisine, number of guests and event duration to schedule each team member accordingly.
