CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - Part Time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the direction and supervision of the Licensed Occupational Therapist.   The Occupational Therapy Assistant will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality care appropriate to the age of the patient. Will evaluate and treat patients in the realm of Occupational Therapy. Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Graduate or equivalent.  Graduate of an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
2. Currently licensed by the Ohio Board of Occupational Therapy.
3. Prior electronic medical records experienced preferred.
4. Two years experience in an equivalent position, preferably in an Outpatient health care setting.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills/ability to work well with others projecting a positive image for the Hospital.
6. Excellent communication, organizational and detail skills.
7. Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
8. Ability to remain calm and function well in stressful situations.
