Position Snapshot
Our Chemical Processing Operators complete all receiving and processing functions associated with all containerized materials to the plant.

Day in the Life 

While no two days are exactly the same, as a Processing Plant Operator, you can expect to:

  • Load and unload bulk and containerized materials using light equipment
  • Perform sample testing and lab work
  • Execute chemical treatment required to meet discharge limitations
  • Operate chemical process equipment, filter presses, and filtration systems
  • Operate equipment to empty oil drums and transfer solids and fluids to storage tanks
  • Perform daily inspections of facility and storage tanks
  • Manage solids and chemical treated fluids in storage facility
  • Participate in a weekly safety and compliance meeting.
  • Ensure the work area is safe and compliant at all times.
  • Performs general housekeeping, including cleaning tankers and general maintenance of equipment and site
  • Participate in weekly safety and compliance meetings

What you need to apply

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Comfort wearing a respirator as needed
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule (including overtime)
  • Desire to learn and grow to levels of greater responsibility
