The center has an opening for a full-time cook. The hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30 minute, unpaid break. Benefits include paid time off, medical insurance, 10 paid holidays, and paid professional development. Pay range is $9.30 - $12.75/hour, based on level of food service experience.

The essential job duties are:

*Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with Dept. of Health, ODJFS, and CACFP regulations

*Prepare each classroom for meals by counting out plates, cups, and silverware according to attendance counts

*Wash and sanitize infant/toddler cups in dishwasher and distribute to classrooms

*Prepare/serve breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack

*Clean/sanitize carts and dishes, put food away

*Store leftover according to regulations of CACFP

*Run dishwasher and unload

*Take kitchen trash to dumpster at least once daily

*Report to Food Program Supervisor any non-compliances with the CACFP

*Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

*Required to stand, walk, hear, smell, taste, and see to maintain CACFP compliance

*Required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
