Description
OMNI Orthopaedics' Clinical Operations Manager anticipates, plans, organizes, and directs the operations of OMNI Orthopaedics Mid-level providers, Clinical, Appointment scheduling, Surgery scheduling, and Medical records departments to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided to patients. As a member of the Administration team, this position ensures efficient operations and workflows for patients, physicians, and employees through the application of standardized processes and best practices.
Essential Functions
- Provides a broad range of consultative services to all levels of employees regarding policies and procedures.
- Completes performance reviews annually on all direct reports.
- Holds, leads, and develops topic agendas for department meetings and joint meetings with Physician, OASIS and Management. Attends other meetings as requested.
- Reviews and monitors Clinic activities; implements changes in, or better utilization of facility's services, equipment, and staff.
- Maintains, performs, and reports equipment upkeep records and needs.
- Botox ordering
- Recognizes and acts to diffuse problematic situations. Provides intervention, resolution of patient issues and problems; informs appropriate staff and Physicians as needed.
- Responsible for the clinics OSHA compliance regulations
- Holds quarterly fire safety drills
- Participates in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning process for the company.
- Provides expertise in strategy development and execution, planning and facilitation of employee relations efforts.
- Call schedule maintenance
- Maintains a qualified, skilled, and trained staff.
- Timecard approvals
- Approves/denies time off requests
- Provides recommendations of alternate methods of construction projects within the building.
- Enacts contingency plans for all operations as needed; escalates and directs activities during systems problems, disasters, etc.; identifies potential problems, troubleshoots, escalates issues, if needed to COO/CEO
- Participates in providing input for future process improvements for the corporation.
- Collaborates with Administrative team, salary adjustments, transfers, promotions, and dismissals.
- Mentoring and coaching of viable leadership candidates.
- Any additional tasks/projects assigned by COO/CEO.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Core days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 6:30am to 5:00pm., 40 hours weekly. Position hours vary based on the needs of the clinic. Earlier start time may be needed.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel is expected.
Required Education/Preferred Experience
1. Certification or License in the medical field is required
2. 2 years’ experience in a medical management/supervisor position
