Description

OMNI Orthopaedics' Clinical Operations Manager anticipates, plans, organizes, and directs the operations of OMNI Orthopaedics Mid-level providers, Clinical, Appointment scheduling, Surgery scheduling, and Medical records departments to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided to patients. As a member of the Administration team, this position ensures efficient operations and workflows for patients, physicians, and employees through the application of standardized processes and best practices.

Essential Functions

  1. Provides a broad range of consultative services to all levels of employees regarding policies and procedures.
  2. Completes performance reviews annually on all direct reports.
  3. Holds, leads, and develops topic agendas for department meetings and joint meetings with Physician, OASIS and Management. Attends other meetings as requested.
  4. Reviews and monitors Clinic activities; implements changes in, or better utilization of facility's services, equipment, and staff.
  5. Maintains, performs, and reports equipment upkeep records and needs.
  6. Botox ordering
  7. Recognizes and acts to diffuse problematic situations. Provides intervention, resolution of patient issues and problems; informs appropriate staff and Physicians as needed.
  8. Responsible for the clinics OSHA compliance regulations
  9. Holds quarterly fire safety drills
  10. Participates in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning process for the company.
  11. Provides expertise in strategy development and execution, planning and facilitation of employee relations efforts.
  12. Call schedule maintenance
  13. Maintains a qualified, skilled, and trained staff.
  14. Timecard approvals
  15. Approves/denies time off requests
  16. Provides recommendations of alternate methods of construction projects within the building.
  17. Enacts contingency plans for all operations as needed; escalates and directs activities during systems problems, disasters, etc.; identifies potential problems, troubleshoots, escalates issues, if needed to COO/CEO
  18. Participates in providing input for future process improvements for the corporation.
  19. Collaborates with Administrative team, salary adjustments, transfers, promotions, and dismissals.
  20. Mentoring and coaching of viable leadership candidates.
  21. Any additional tasks/projects assigned by COO/CEO.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Core days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 6:30am to 5:00pm., 40 hours weekly. Position hours vary based on the needs of the clinic. Earlier start time may be needed.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel is expected.

Required Education/Preferred Experience

1. Certification or License in the medical field is required

2. 2 years’ experience in a medical management/supervisor position
