Construction Superintendent

• 3 years’ experience in the construction industry required.
• Background Check and Pre-Employment Testing Required.
• Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities.
• Liaison with client representatives, government officials, architects / engineers, and subcontractors.
• Develop, update, and maintain project schedule.
• Monitor construction for compliance with plans and specifications ensuring quality standards are exceeded.
• Communicate with Managers, Architects, Owners, Etc. to assure timely and effective problem resolutions.
• Strong leadership skills and complex critical thinking skills.
• Strong organizational prioritization capable of working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of industry practices and the impacts of project activities. Understand construction documents, specifically, drawings and specifications.
• Schedule and coordinate work of all subcontractors to maintain the project schedule and optimize sequencing of the work for the project
• Attend Weekly project meetings, scheduling meetings, etc. and provide required input.
• Ensure site safety according to Massillon Construction and Supply, LLC safety policies.
• Ensure all required postings, manuals, signs, fences, fire extinguishers, and medicine cabinets are in place in trailer or around site as required.
• Maintain neat, clean, and orderly job sites.
