Job Description: Crewing Coordinator

 

Overview, Essential Duties, and Responsibilities:

 

The Crewing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the site is adequately crewed with people available to support production forecasting needs. This role collaborates with front line leaders at the site to track and maintain team member attendance records including managing the attendance call-in line, recordkeeping, and PTO scheduling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for:
• Partnering with Supervisors and Supply Chain team to ensure the staffing of each area is appropriate to meet production demand
• Communicating with team members’ regarding schedules, vacation requests, overtime sign-up and rotation per company policy
• Compliance with company and SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) labor standards
• Partnering with the Production team for time card editing, managing team member schedules, and ensuring cost center mapping is accurate
• Adjusting schedules as needed to align with immediate needs of production and/or customer demand
• Running overtime and staffing reports and maintaining staffing rosters to ensure data integrity
• Tracking staffing changes, FMLA, vacations, part-time associates, etc.
• Creating and maintaining all hourly associates’ attendance records for all departments and shifts
• Collaborating with HR to ensure associate attendance corrective actions are issued timely/in accoridance to policy
• Participating in new hire orientation
• Performing additional duties as assigned. Supporting operations as needed.

Education and Work Experience
• Two-year degree, or high school education or GED equivalent plus 5 years of manufacturing experience
