The Director of Advancement fulfills the mission of Lake Center Christian school by planning, guiding, and evaluating the advancement efforts of the school. The role of this position is to lead the entire Advancement Team in long term strategic thinking and implementation of the school’s overall goals through building a culture of philanthropy. The Advancement Team coordinates the efforts of the school in fundraising, marketing, event planning, grant writing, communications, alumni affairs and public relations. Additionally, this person is an integral part of the team for recruitment, financial aid, enrollment, and re-enrollment of mission appropriate students to Lake Center Christian School. Other members of the team include a marketing director and an admissions director. The Director of Advancement reports to the Superintendent and is a key member of the school’s Administrative Team. The successful applicant must be able to sign and support the school's statement of faith and Christian mission.
