Position Summary

This position is responsible for the licensing and permitting of company equipment, as well as other Equipment Team functions.

 

 

Essential Functions

  • Ensures proper licensing and permitting of company equipment to include all classes of vehicles up through Class 8 in the continental United States and Hawaii
  • Maintains licensing calendar including tracking permits’ expirations to ensure timely renewals, updating calendar with accurate application and receipt dates
  • Accurately and timely submit license and permit applications (new and renewals) to the various public and private agencies needed to support fleet operations
  • Update and distribute the various permit packets with current credentials timely
  • Process terminal requests for replacement permits and/or plates that have been misplaced or damaged
  • Maintain licensing database for each unit including title information, registration and permit data to facilitate equipment tracking and renewal scheduling

 

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years transportation/maintenance experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with maintenance software preferred
  • Effective customer service and communication skills
