Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for managing/maintaining Refuge of Hope's maintenance, safety, and technology activities in a professional, efficient, and responsible manner. The incumbent will ensure all facilities are fit for operation and will provide proactive solutions/support as needed. This position reports to Refuge of Hope’s Chief Executive Officer.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight/direction of Refuge of Hope’s interior/exterior maintenance/technology/safety activities to keep day-to-day operations running effectively/efficiently
• Develop/implement a preventative interior/exterior maintenance plan
• Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside service providers; manage relationships with service providers to make certain Refuge of Hope gets necessary services on a timely basis and at the best possible price
• Ensure proper security measures are in effect for Refuge of Hope facilities
• Provide direction for Refuge of Hope construction/development projects
• Develop/implement a vendor management system to assure Refuge of Hope is getting products and services ordered/purchased and at the best possible price
• Organize/implement safety plan including safety training for Refuge of Hope’s staff
• Ensure compliance with all safety and federal, state, and local rules and regulations
• Recommend/develop/implement/enforce Refuge of Hope policies and procedures
• Practice and ensure compliance with Refuge of Hope’s mission, vision, and core values
• Perform other duties and activities as requested

Educational Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 6-10 Years

Special Requirements:
Must have a demonstrated commitment and adherence to understanding, practicing, and implementing the mission, vision, core values, and philosophy of Refuge of Hope. Leadership and interpersonal skills necessary. Must have a strong commitment to serve the homeless, hungry, and those living in poverty. Must be able to professionally represent Refuge of Hope in a variety of settings and diverse communities.
