Description

The Shuttle Driver will deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer truck, sometimes over intercity routes and back roads. They will record the amount of any type of cargo being delivered, fill up on fuel, clean truck and wash windows. They will be required to keep their truck and associated equipment clean and in good working order. First and second shifts are available.

  • Follow all applicable traffic laws
  • Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs
  • Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel
  • Keep truck and associated equipment clean and in good working order
  • Meet all delivery schedules
  • Ability to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions
  • Ensure the safety of goods being carried on the trailer
  • Make sure that all items are secured properly
  • Assist in unloading items at the destination\
  • Be able to lift 50lbs- 60lbs

Required Education and Experience  

  • Valid CDL- Class A operator’s license
  • License not suspended or revoked for cause within the last 5 years, per the criteria of 49 CFR 391.15 and/ or 383.51 whether in commercial or personal vehicle
  • High school Graduate/ GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of tractor/trailer driving experience
