The Foltz Community Center is looking for someone to fill a unique role within the organization. The Foltz Community Center has been proudly serving the East Canton and surrounding community for the past 26 years. The Center hosts events for different groups within the community as well as many, many private events throughout the year including but not limited to weddings, showers, birthday parties, etc. The Head Server/Assistant position will work directly with the Kitchen Manager as part of the Foltz Center catering staff as well as the Operations Manager and will perform both event coordination and clerical duties. Applicant must have a flexible schedule as hours and days will vary. Must be available for daytime, evening & weekend events.

Job responsibilities include:

• Banquet setup/tear down
• Serving
• Assist the cook in preparing meals as needed
• Answering phones
• Working directly with customers
• Data entry

Preferred skills:

• Customer service
• Moderate computer skills
• Highly organized
• Restaurant/Banquet experience
