Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting and assisting the EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer and HR Leadership staff. This position is part of the corporate receptionist team, spending time daily in the position and sharing responsibilities as needed.

 

Essential Functions

  • Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Supports HR Leadership staff as needed with planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
  • Creating and distributing weekly HR itinerary.
  • Maintains customer and employee confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
  • Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; verifies receipt of supplies.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Potential Team Members should have:

  • High School Diploma; Associate Degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant in an office setting
  • Exceptional communication & organizational skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • General Human Resources knowledge and experience preferred
