Job Description:

AFD Industries, Inc. is an Ohio company that specializes in the distribution of elevator parts and is looking for a motivated inside sales associate/customer service representative who is eager to learn and develop relationships to facilitate continued success within our organization.  In this role, you will be impacting multiple functions of our company.

Starting Wage: 

Contingent upon experience.

Job Duties and Success Factors:

Maintains and strengthens customer accounts and develops new accounts through phone, e-mail, etc.

Develop new accounts and build relationships internally and externally.

Provide quotes, process customer orders, and confirm deliveries to the customers’ satisfaction.

Working knowledge of internal account management through order processing, receiving, and tracking inventory.

Working knowledge of the technical characteristics of the components we supply to the industry.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma; however, Associates degree preferred.  

Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions; develops and sustains working relationships.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and EDI)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be dependable and takes prompt action to accomplish objectives.

Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and keep an organized workplace.

A team player that can use interpersonal styles and communication methods to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.

Professional attitude and conduct.

Previous office and/or customer service experience is a plus.
