Summary of Role

The Landscape Maintenance Manager will be leading and organizing the maintenance crews in the efficient and effective delivery of work performance for all clients. Responsible for ensuring the maintenance employees are fully trained in job quality, safety and productivity to undertake the jobs required of them. Create a positive, supportive work environment. Ensure high quality work within the required profit margin.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Oversee maintenance operations to ensure work is performed efficiently and to our standards.
  • Complete schedule maintains and update.
  • Analyze job sites to meet company standards for quality and productivity.
  • Crew Training and are essential duties to be performed.
  • Ensure employees have been trained on all aspects of the job (safety, quality, efficiency, equipment.)
  • Properly complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Follow, promote and enforce company safety rules assuring working on the jobsite is safe for the client, employees, and the property.
  • Effective management and training of supervisors and crew members.
  • Provide Support to all employees to perform their duties in the most productive manner.
  • Minimizing expenses/costs of operations.
  • Continually developing skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure quality control site evaluations have been completed.
  • Complete performance evaluation in a timely manner.
  • Effectively execute change order work authorized by client.
  • Supervise snow management services.

Effectively manages maintenance equipment and materials to accomplish schedules within established budgets.

Requirements and Expectations

  • Effectively communicating with management, peers, assistants, clients, and vendors.
  • Meet company standards regarding presentation of self.
  • Able to take initiative in making decisions.
  • Possess a CLT Certification in Landscape Construction (Preferable.)
  • Two-year degree in Landscape Horticulture/Management
  • Knowledge of Landscape Maintenance practices and equipment.
  • Be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
