Description: Are you a positive, upbeat person who is interested in having a fast-paced position with variety? We are looking for an Office Manager/Paralegal Assistant with a professional disposition who is willing to take on multiple tasks which would include: drafting estate planning documents and legal correspondence, coordinating with clients, scheduling, preparing probate forms and manage probate files, electronic court filing, preparing deeds and affidavits, business filings, assisting attorney in civil litigation (docketing, drafting pleadings and court related documents, drafting and reviewing discovery, conducting factual and legal investigation, preparing trial notebooks and exhibits, coordinating depositions), assisting clients, day-to-day general office procedures, and more.

Experience: Ideal applicant would have 1+ years of legal assistant experience in estate planning, probate, and trust; and an a good understanding of general legal terms and procedures for a law practice. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train a motivated applicant with the aptitude and willingness to learn.

Skills: Detail oriented individual who is self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks. Must have basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to manage office tasks such as drafting, coordinating with clients, writing letters, completing probate and asset transfer forms, basic research of court and county filings, etc. Excellent personal and telephone skills a must.
