REPORTS TO: SALES MANAGER

 

JOB PURPOSE: Supports Project Quotes working with our vendors, salesmen and directly with Customers to provide timely, complete and professional job quotations on an ongoing basis to meet our customer's specific conditions of satisfaction.  Analyze customer pricing files to provide accurate and appropriate price levels to optimize Customer sales and Company profitability.

 

JOB DUTIES:

 

• Provides project sales support to outside sales staff to insure effective levels of customer service

 

• Quotes prices for various jobs through Furbay’s quotation software

 

• Performs order entry of job purchases and provides acknowledgement to customers

 

• Provides and updates reports and shipping schedules to customers

 

• Processes change orders with suppliers and customers as needed

 

• Applies job billing to current projects and monitors orders through completion

 

• Organizes customers and vendor files for all job quotes for easy access as needed

 

• Maintains accurate and complete Project files

 

• Able to successfully resolve customer inquiries and issues/complaints

 

• Assists in locating special parts and products for customer job quotes

 

• Communicates daily with the Sales Department in regard to customers' job needs and inquiries

 

• Has excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving and customer service skills

 

• Accurately assists the pricing administrator by maintaining information within the

Company business system such as contract price changes and special net pricing

 

• Has accurate data entry skills with attention to detail and good follow through

 

• Possess PC literacy/knowledge of MS Office and business system skills

 

• Demonstrates experience with computer applications such as Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, and/or WordPerfect

 

• Maintains/creates e-mail distribution lists, databases simple spreadsheets and files

 

• Able to effectively communicate with a variety of people including internal and external customers and suppliers

 

• Develops a good understanding of local markets and product knowledge within our customer base to be able to evaluate products  in terms of customers' needs

 

• Learn and become proficient in vendor software as it relates to distribution and gear
