We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Logistics Intern who will begin working with us during the summer with potential to stay on in the fall/winter.

 

Essential Functions

• Inventory management -- make sure that sites are staying full of fuel across the country
• Data entry/validation -- make sure that gallons, BOL #'s, and loading times are accurate
• Communicate with carriers and customers on a daily basis via email or phone
• Bids/Rate negotiations -- helping find carriers across the country to haul our loads
• Freight payment and auditing -- make sure payments are timely and correct for carriers and customers
• Order creation & order tracking -- create loads for customers and make sure they deliver on time

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or similar degree
• Must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
• Must be a full-time student pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experienced in Microsoft application
• Experienced and proficient with Google web based office applications
• Ability to work well within a team and independently
