We have a full time Machine Helper position available on second shift in our corrugated packaging manufacturing facility located in Navarre, OH. If you are task oriented, and capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment, you may be our ideal candidate. Primary responsibilities include assisting the machine operator in the set up and continuous operation of a machine creating custom corrugated packaging by assuring correct placement, gluing and assembly of the completed packaging solution to specifications. This helper also hand glues and folds materials, assists in running presses and other production related machines, reads factory orders, accurately reads tape measures, gauges and other test equipment, utilizes basic shop math, inspects, loads, counts and stacks product, accurately reading and completing production and shipping documents and following directions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist and turn
• The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly
• Lift and or push up to 75 to 100 pounds in the machine production and shipping areas
• Able to be Tow Motor certified
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds

The Work Environment and Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to hot and cold temperatures, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. This position requires the ability to see and hear and also requires continuous standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and occasionally climbing during the shift. Continuously lifting, pushing and/or otherwise moving 25 to 100 pounds items is also a requirement.
