Description
GENERAL ROLE:
A-Z Solutions, Inc. is actively seeking a Construction Journeyman. This position is accountable for the installation of our SSD Systems. An excellent understanding of the construction field is necessary in this position. A-Z offers pay range of $20-24/hour and full benefits as advancement opportunities to all employees.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Work with a field crew of 3-10
- Work with a field crew on projects in accordance with the standards of practice of the Company and regulatory bodies
- Attend training events and maintain required certifications as required by the Company and regulatory bodies
- Accountable for following project plans and schedules ensuring that crews perform activities to meet production goals
- Project documentation and reporting
- Assist in cost control
- Lead job site tailgate safety meetings
- Translate general work requirements into a prioritized work plan for the field installation crew
- Travel to and from job sites in Company vehicle
- Overnight travel while staying in Company paid hotel room
- Open communication with Project Manager, Field Services Manager, Site Foreman and other office staff

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years experience as a Journeyman
- Accredited Apprentice Program
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficient computer knowledge
- Good understanding of various constructions regulations
- Read and understand construction drawings
