Job Summary
The medical assistant is a member of the team of professionals dedicated to providing quality healthcare to patients by assisting the physician performing various clinical tasks and acting as a communication link between patient and physician.
Responsibilities and Duties
- rooming patients collecting health history, medication lists, and vitals and entering into EHR
- answer phone calls from patients and triaging medical questions to the physicians
- medication refills and prior authorizations
- other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Certified Medical Assistant
- EHR experience preferred
