Description
We are a family owned private practice specializing in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry and addiction looking for a part time (25 hours per week) medical assistant.
Duties include obtaining vital signs, collecting urine drug screens, answering phones, scheduling patients, performing patient check in/out, verifying insurance information, obtaining prior authorizations, and other office duties.
Prior work experience in the medical field is preferred. Must have basic computer proficiency and be able to quickly learn use of our Electronic Health Record (EHR). Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
Starting wage: $13.00 per hour
