Job Summary

 This position reports directly to the Shift Supervisor and must work in coordination with co-workers to be effective. This position is primarily responsible for completing the job functions as listed below:

 

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Operation of all compounding systems
• Mixing special recipes through Silo “G”
• Perform material handling duties as needed, i.e. delivering powder to extrusion lines
• Fill exterior silo’s with resin from railcars
• Receive and fill liquid tanks
• Bale cardboard
• Check material height in silo’s utilizing established measurement procedures; climbing silo ladders
• Standing, bending, stooping, reaching vertically as well as horizontally
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to a height of 4 to 5 feet and hold away from body then place it on the floor.
• Complete all other duties as assigned

• Must have good reading, writing and math skills
• Good computer skills and knowledge
