LED Transportation is seeking riders/aides to assist with our non-medical transportation services. This role assists the driver in ensuring safe and efficient transportation while providing support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to and from adult day programs and work sites. Rides/Aides must be compassionate and patient, able to work collaboratively with a team to ensure all passengers feel comfortable and secure during transit.  

Part-Time Non-Medical Transport Rider/Aide positions available.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a friendly and respectful atmosphere for all passengers.
• Communicate clearly with individuals, caregivers, and staff.
• Maneuver wheelchairs and secure in vehicle for transport.
• Assist drivers in maintaining accurate records and promptly reporting incidents.  

• Availability for at least one weekend a month. 

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a background check and possible drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong interpersonal skills; must be personable and enjoy working with others.

Compensation:

• Pay is based on experience: $12.00-$14.00 per hour.
• 90-day probationary period.
