Description
DUTIES (include but not limited to the following):
- Provides developmental evaluations and assessments to determine Part C eligibility and plan service needs
- Plans and implements evidence-based early intervention services to eligible infants and toddlers and their families within natural environments
- Serves as the Primary Service Provider (PSP) delivering services through a coaching interaction style with the family and caregivers who will carry out intervention strategies during the family’s daily routines
- Provides consultation to staff and families in regard to specific outcomes and goals and objectives
- Participates as a member of the trans-disciplinary team and attends weekly team meetings and semi-annual IFSP meetings as requested by the Service Coordinator or required by program guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS (include but not limited to the following):
- Must hold and maintain current and valid Ohio Occupational Therapist registration/license
- Performance is guided by the American Occupational Therapy Association standards
- Sound basic knowledge of occupational therapy theory, treatment, and evaluations of infants, toddlers and preschoolers
- Knowledge of infant/toddler growth and development, family dynamics, disabilities and risk factors, trans-disciplinary teaming, and intervention program planning
SALARY RANGE: $64,584 - $92,705.60 Excellent benefits package.
