Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Credit Union Member Service Representatives at Lake Community Federal Credit Union to provide excellent member service in daily transactions, member inquiries, and problem resolutions. As a member service rep you will promote good member relations with a kind and friendly demeanor and honor member confidentiality.
Job Responsibilities
As a Credit Union Member Service Rep with Lake Community Federal Credit Union, you will develop rapport with the member base, greet them by name, be timely with correspondence and problem resolutions and display a caring attitude.
- Provide exceptional member service to all internal, external and potential Credit Union members and responsible for member retention
- Handling cash and processing member transactions
- Initiating conversations with members to uncover their needs
- Perform account maintenance on share/savings accounts, share draft/checking accounts, certificate of deposits etc.
- Perform services for members that include: providing loan payoff information, check orders, address changes, setting up ACH and payroll distributions and transfers, filing, scanning etc.
- Answer questions and provide information to members, via phone, fax, and online correspondence.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of credit union procedures, policies, products and services.
- Handling member issues with professionalism and directing complex issues to the management staff
- Performing daily office responsibilities alongside other staff to maintain the efficient operation of the credit union.
