Kovatch Castings is a growing manufacturer of precision investment castings in Uniontown, OH. We currently have an opening for a part time first shift Mold Maker, 24 hours/week.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

The ability to work on plastic injection molds.  Must be able to machine engineering changes and be able to do simple to complex cavity work.  Analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, fit and assemble parts to fabricate and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures.   Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualize product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.   Preferred experience - ten plus years as a machinist working on wax type molds.
