General Summary of Duties: Responsible for triaging incoming calls and making follow-up calls

Education: High school diploma and be a graduate of a practical nursing program with current licensure in Ohio or have an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting with current certification.

General Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Responds to incoming patient calls and triages them accordingly, including but not limited to scheduling appointment and referral to urgent care or emergency room.
• Receives incoming calls from outside facilities and appropriately relays stat results to providers for care coordination.
• Receives incoming calls from nursing facilities and appropriately relays message to providers for care coordination.
• Records patient triage encounters on patient’s medical record.
• Relays diagnostic test results, provider recommendations, and medication changes to patients.
• Completing refill requests for maintenance medications.
• Completes orders/schedules for O2, Physical Therapy, Durable Medical Equipment, Home Health, and Infusion Therapy.
• Follows standing orders to order tests and supplies to improve office efficiency.

Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. One Saturday a month 7:30-12noon.

Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
