PRE-TRIAL RELEASE AND PRE-SENTENCE SERVICES PROGRAM 

POSITION TITLE: PRE-TRIAL RELEASE SERVICES OFFICER

The Court of Common Pleas, General Division, is seeking an individual to serve as a Pre-Trial Release Services Officer for the Pre-Trial and Pre-Sentence Services Program. Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Trial and Pre-Sentence Services Program Director and the indirect supervision of the Deputy Court Administrator, the Pre-Trial Release Officer is responsible for gathering, processing, and evaluating the information necessary to aid in the determination of an arrestee’s pre-trial release and/or detention and to monitor those released under the supervision of Pre-Trial Services. Other duties include contacting victims, reviewing bonds, monitoring arrest dates and bookings, maintaining statistics, and submitting reports. 

Qualifications:  Must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year accredited college or university, preferably with a major in criminal justice, social services or a related field.

Must possess at least one (1) year experience in criminal justice or social services. Must be proficient in the use of the computer.  This is a grant-funded position.
