What is Habitat for Humanity ReStore? Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit thrift store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home décor, and building materials to the public. Proceeds help Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio build and renovate homes with low to moderate income families in the local community.

Help build a ReStore community that helps Habitat build homes. The ReStore Marketing Coordinator will help drive the success of Habitat for Humanity ReStore by engaging the public with meaningful, timely, and
strategic marketing across multiple channels. In other words, create a community of ReStore fans—shoppers who can purchase the affordable items they need and donors who give the items they no longer need to a Habitat mission they believe in.

Candidates must prove full COVID-19 Vaccinated status. 

Salary Range. $45,000 - $55,000 per year depending on education and experience.

This position reports to: The ReStore Marketing Coordinator reports to the ReStore Director (RD) with oversight from the Director of Communications as needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media
o Create and share engaging and timely content across all social channels (inventory, events,
contests, live broadcasts, Habitat updates, affordable housing advocacy, article shares, etc.)
o Interact meaningfully with the ReStore social community (answer questions, help people smile,
offer assistance, engage with other businesses and organizations, etc.)
o Monitor channels for and act on inappropriate community content
o Manage ReStore’s paid social media campaigns by setting campaign goals, identifying high
performing content, generating ad audiences, settings budgets, and monitoring analytics
o Host or facilitate live broadcast video content (Facebook Live, Instagram Live, etc.)
o Develop and implement strategies for increasing social community engagement and growth
o Monitor and reply to online reviews (Google, Yelp, Bing Places, Facebook, etc.)
Email
o Create and send frequent and meaningful email communications to subscribers (inventory, news
and updates, upcoming events, sales and discounts, etc.)
o Craft content that engages the ReStore community to improve open and click rates
o Develop and implement strategies that grow ReStore’s list of email subscribers
o Maintain a clean and organized database of subscriber information
Print
o Create and update ReStore printed materials as needed (signage, tags, decals, flyers, etc.)
o Coordinate with outside printing and production companies to order materials that cannot be
produced in house (metal signage, oversized signage, business cards, promotional items, etc.)
o Coordinate with the DR as needed to negotiate print ad space and pricing
o Create and deliver quality print ads according to publisher specifications
Digital
o Create and update ReStore digital materials as needed (graphics for social media, email, on
screen display, etc.)
o Capture and edit photos and videos to support all ReStore marketing (social media, online shop,
email, website, etc.)
o Coordinate with the DR when needed to negotiate digital ad space and pricing
o Create and deliver quality digital ads according to publisher specifications
o Identify and create opportunities to gain additional online reviews
o Assist with ReStore website updates, content, and maintenance as needed
Copywriting
o Create intentional and intelligent copy to support all ReStore marketing (email, radio spots, social
media, print and digital materials, etc.)
Other Duties as Assigned

Physical Demands: The ReStore Communications Coordinator must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and have the ability to spend the majority of the day moving. Work may require bending, kneeling, navigating steps,
and reaching in awkward and tiring positions.
