As the Senior Generalist, Human Resources, Corporate Service Center 

Your seat at the table

  • The HR Senior Generalist - Corporate provides project and systems ownership support to the Senior Director of Operations HR
  • Specific Responsibilities:
    • Facilitate, track and build HR budgets
    • Facilitate Strategic Compensation project, including fielding requests from sites, tracking system progress, and communication with the Executive team
    • Build HR Policy Management program for Shearer’s, document and stand up critical policies to reinforce company values, drive business results, and increase retention.
    • Facilitate HR Operations Masterplan
    • Build and own Compliance Calendar, including Sedex audits
    • Build and facilitate HR training calendar
    • Own relationships with strategic staffing partners such as Allegiant Staffing, Shift1, working directly with Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition

 Growth for the Future

  • The ideal candidate would complete this assignment and then move into an HR Manager position in one of our 12 factories

 What you bring to the table

  •  Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years Human Resources work experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of employees and management
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including knowledge of EEO, ADA and FMLA
  • Strong drive for results to lead and facilitate efforts to ensure human resources alignment with the company and/or site
  • Experience with HRIS systems, ADP preferably
  • Demonstrated ability to deal directly with line management and hourly workforce to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change
  • Strong project management and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • Ability to lead with empathy
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, results oriented environment
