Position Description: Senior Process Technician
Reports to: Vice President of Operations
Expected Hours of Work: Mon-Fri, 7 am-3 pm; additional hours may be required.

Basic Function

The Senior Process Technician is responsible for production set-ups, troubleshooting, and other technical aspects of production.

Duties and Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

• Supervise and direct Press Operators, Floor Personnel, and other production employees.
• Coordinate activities to ensure that production objectives are accomplished in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
• Provide leadership, direction, and training to accomplish company goals and objectives.
• Assist in shop floor organization and plant cleanliness.
• Utilize plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through the utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
• Attain business objectives and production schedules while insuring product standards that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with the latest production concepts and processes, industry trends, and technology advances.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Senior Process Technician position manages the employees listed above and is responsible for the performance, management, and discipline of the employees.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth of perception, and ability to adjust focus.
