Our busy, growing ambulatory surgery center is seeking an experienced sterile room technician. Sterile room Techs are a vital first line of defense in quality care and infection prevention. This position is full time Monday through Friday, predominately 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Flexibility is a must as schedules flex according to the surgery schedule and may include some later shifts or rare weekend hours.

Some of the duties and responsibilities of this position include:

• Decontamination, maintenance, and sterilization of instruments according to facility procedure standards.
• Performance of biological testing and log book data entry.
• Infection control and safety policies and procedures are implemented per center’s policy and procedures.

• Ensure quality and safe delivery of the center's services
• Delivering quality outcomes focused in the area of Sterile Room Processing.
• Overall appearance reflects good hygiene.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate required
• 5 years of Sterile Room Processing experience
• CST certification preferred
