Stockroom Attendant

Available Shift: Days Monday-Friday

Your seat at the table

Stockroom Attendants play a pivotal role in the maintenance process. They are responsible for maintaining parts inventories to ensure critical spare parts for the plant are always in stock and available. The position requires a strict attention to detail and a basic knowledge and understanding of machinery, parts, tools and processes.

• Maintain the stockroom in a safe and organized manner.
• Be responsible to complete inventories on an ongoing basis, which includes walking the aisles and getting counts daily.
• Work with maintenance personnel to achieve plant up-time goals
• Learn the Maintenance Connection work order system and parts location in the stockroom
• Be able to locate parts using the MC program
• Be willing to work overtime as required
• Answer the phone.
• Unload trucks when required.
• Remove items off of the daily inventory logs from the system and correct inventories if needed.
• May be required to work holidays.
• Fill up supply cages for production daily.
• Clean and dust the shelves as needed.
• Make sure all items are removed from the floor.
• Clean the tool room and keep organized.
• Remove trash and cardboard daily.

The position requires the incumbent to execute tasks in a safe and efficient manner within a defined period of time. The incumbent must collaborate with teammates, effectively manage personal time, demonstrates personal responsibility, contribute to the positive work environment, and respects others time. The incumbent must demonstrate our core values of respect, teamwork, and giving back at all times. This position requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, basic math and counting skills, Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience. In order to give your best, you must also be able to be on your feet, keep up with a fast, repetitious pace and perform repetitious lifting up to 25+ pounds.
