SCANACON, INC seeks top candidates for Technical Sales.  Work with a global leader in manufacturing technology! Scanacon, Inc., a world leader in acid management equipment and systems for the metal finishing industry, is currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic Technical Sales candidates for our North and South American region.

In this role, the selected candidate will support the North American Scanacon, Inc marketing strategy by developing the targeted territorial sales volume for the complete line of Scanacon, Inc products and solutions. 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Manages assigned accounts and grows new prospects with the designated sales territory; supports and develops new business and open new markets for the sale of the Scanacon, Inc product line. Delivers solutions that meet our customer demands; cultivates an effective partnership with our customers. Grows sales and the profitability for our Company. Maintains contact with assigned authorized distribution to promote and encourage the sale of Scanacon, Inc products through this channel of distribution. Evaluates authorized distributors and prospective distributors within territory. Through testing and evaluation, assists our customers in solving any tooling related production problem and, where possible, provides productivity improvements (PIPs) by the proper application of Scanacon, Inc.  products. Keep informed on competitor activities; gather and assess data and make observations. Meets or exceeds established goals for sales volume and margins.

YOUR PROFILE: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s of Science in a related field with a minimum of five years job related experience in the metal finishing industry.  Strong interest in a sales career. Previous experience in technical sales is a must. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Must be able to perform mathematical calculations applicable to product applications and sales statistics. Must be self-motivated and demonstrate good understanding of technology and have an industrial background. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Employee must possess a current driver's license valid for his/her state of primary residence. Employee may be required to undergo security clearance screening and obtain it for entry into some customer facilities.
