The vice president of business growth is a new position for the Stark Economic Development Board that is being created to meet increased demand for our business growth services and to support our community’s new economic plan, Strengthening Stark. The vice president of business growth will work directly with companies (existing businesses, businesses that want to expand into Stark and startups) and help them access local, regional, state and federal resources that will help them achieve their growth goals. The vice president will also manage teams of local public officials and local economic development executives, as well as regional and state players, to help individual companies achieve their growth plans. The vice president reports to the President of Stark Economic Development Board.

Requisite Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have three-to-five years in a business leadership or economic development.

Preferred candidates will have significant project management experience helping companies achieve their growth plans. Candidates must also have experience working with teams in collaborative environments. .

Compensation for the position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
