Job Description:

We are looking for a warehouse manager to join our team and manage our Shipping & Receiving operations in Columbiana, Ohio.  This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. You must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times.

Responsibilities

• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse lead role
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
• Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
• Ability to work with all levels of company staff
• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with the company’s policy
• Responsible for receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

Requirements

• Proficient computer skills

o You will be trained on the computer software we use for all project ticketing and tracking

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
